CHICAGO—Panera Bread is raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation, so the company took its efforts to new heights.
They set up a lemonade stand by The Ledge on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower.
The custom-designed lemonade stand is bicycle powered and Panera plans to drive it throughout the city.
On Thursday they will be at Buckingham Fountain and on Friday, at Millenium Park.
Panera is asking for one-dollar donations for Make-a-Wish, the foundation that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
Customers can also buy lemonade at Panera cafes for $1, and all proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish of Illinois.
From July 16th -31st, $0.25 of each lemonade and frozen lemonade sold at Panera cafes will also support the charity.
