Since November 2011 I have sent emails to redservice@tribune.com and consumerservices@tribune.com with no results regarding distributing the Redeye publication daily in the following street box locations. Unfortunately, I have received only 'AUTO REPLYS' stating someone will get back with me. I'M STILL WAITING. At this writing, I would not bet on any resolution. I would simply now like to know how I can become one of their circulation distributors, so I can get paid for DOING NOTHING!!!. And... as I have previously stated in numerous emails, please don't suggest I pay for the convenience of home delivery when the Redeye boxes are in place where the daily publication is FREE!!.
Box Locations In My Surrounding Neighborhood:
-- 103rd Street Halsted - South bus stop, at traffic light in front of Currency Exchange - IT WAS BROKEN AND REMOVED; WHY HASN'T THE BOX BEEN REPLACED???????
-- 103rd Street Halsted - North corner at bus stop in front of Insurance Company - IT HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR QUITE SOME TIME (FIX OR REPLACE IT AND FILL IT DAILY!!!!)
-- 106th Street Halsted - Outside Walgreen's Drugstore
-- 95th Street Halsted - at corner next to USPS Mailbox (across the street from Carter Woodson Library)
-- 111th Street Halsted - in front of fast-food location
-- 119th Street Halsted - at north bus stop on Halsted
There have been no papers in the boxes on Madison between Wells & Wacker. 4 boxes, no papers for 2 weeks now. What the heck is up?
