With "The Dark Knight Rises" coming out July 20, we were wondering exactly how many people have been the Batman--and some of his supporting characters--through his many iterations. Let's just say some of them were more memorable than others ...

The Original Batman
This is the cover of the original Batman--the Dark Knight's first appearance in a comic. But he looks more like Spiderman swinging from that rope. It's from 1939, so I guess he had some growing up to do.
