RedEye's 25 all-time favorite celeb interviews
I'm lucky for a lot of reasons, and one of them is that I get to do a fun job that includes interviewing a lot of really entertaining movie stars, along with several who are totally boring to talk to (and shall remain nameless).
People frequently ask who my best interview subjects have been (since starting to do them in 2006), and this gallery is my answer. It's all very subjective of course (good interviews that didn't make the cut include Edward Norton, Halle Berry and many more), and no one would ever really claim they "get to know" a celebrity during a 15-20 minute interview. Still, some go noticeably better than others for various reasons, and these are the people who have been the biggest blast to sit down with/get on the phone. -- Matt Pais

Will Ferrell of 'Semi-Pro'
Quite simply: 15 minutes hanging with the star of "Semi Pro" (easily one of his worst movies) was just flat-out fun. He was ridiculously funny but never like he was putting on a show. He was having a good time and could be serious when he wanted to be. He came off as a good guy and a great sport, and really showed that he's up for anything if he thinks it might get a laugh.
