Chicago artists make over RedEye boxes
To celebrate our 10th birthday, RedEye asked local designers and artists to spruce up a few of our newsstands. Throughout the month of October, we'll be following along here as 10 finalists document their progress in making over their very own box. How will they turn out? With just a few guidelines--mainly to keep it Chicago-themed--and some seriously impressive creativity, we can't wait to see them.
Follow the artists' tweets by checking out the #chicagoinabox hashtag, then meet us in Pioneer Court next to Tribune Tower (435 N. Michigan Ave.) on Oct. 30 when we will unveil all of the boxes and collect your votes for the best one.
