2011 social media project: A photo a day from you - Part II

You know me and social media - I love it but I love involving you, the reader, more. So I got to thinking that a new year should come with a new project. A photo project. We want you to send us a photo a day, every day in 2011. The ultimate goal is to create an always-evolving photo gallery with 365 photos. Something we can look back on next Dec. 31 with pride. Here's what we're looking for and are planning: 1. A photo that captures the day. Sunrise? Sunset? Pigeons? Lunch? Something that you think looks nice. We trust your judgement. 2. While you can send more, one per person will do just fine. 3. Then, we'll choose one and add it to our gallery. We might choose more, but the goal is to choose one. **It's not going to be judged on photography skills** - we're just looking for something fun and random that can be used to described that day. Intrigued? I hope so. Here's how to send them to us. 1. Twitter: Tweet the photo to @redeyechicago with the hashtag #REpics2011. Briefly tell us what it is. 2. Facebook: Post on our Facebook wall. Again, briefly tell us what it is. 3. E-mail: Send to redeyetalk at gmail dot com. Make sure REpics2011 is in the subject line. Again, briefly tell us what it is. Remember, we're not really judging. We're just choosing for randomness. So if you send one on a particular day and it's not chosen, send another. And another. That's it. We can't wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for being a part of history.
