In a previous post, I mentioned that I would soon be debuting new shit. Well, that new shit, I’m happy to report, is almost here, and you can get a sneak peak this Monday at Essay Fiesta at the Book Cellar in Lincoln Square.
There will be drinking, sex, and foul language. And then I’ll do the reading (Boom!).
“Tales of Iceland or ‘Running with the Huldufolk in the Permanent Daylight’” will be available next month for Kindle, Nook, and iPad from the nascent media empire GiveLiveExplore. This travelogue is based off the trip I took last year with my friends Trin and Bojo, and it will, hands down, the greatest book ever written by an American about Iceland. Or at least the most offensive.
It is dirty. It is weird. It has me naked on the cover.
And you can be the first to hear one of its strangest parts along with several other excellent readers at the reading series Essay Fiesta. Again, the Book Cellar, Lincoln Square. 7 p.m. This Monday. In the meantime, you can check out the website here.
