Photos: Pastor camps out

New Beginnings Church Pastor Corey Brooks has set-up camp atop an old motel at 6625 S. King Drive in the West Woodlawn neighborhood on Nov. 19, 2011. He hoped to raise $450,000 so his church could buy the site. Thanks to a promise of $98,000 from movie mogul Tyler Perry, the pastor will be able to buy and demolish the motel to make way for a community center.
