Strawdog Theatre Company, an off-Loop entity with a 25-year history, has announced its 2012-13 season.
Here are the shows:
- "Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom." A piece by Jennifer Hailey about kids becoming addicted to a multi-player video game, to the horror of their parents. Begins Oct. 7.
- "Improbable Frequency." The Midwest premiere of a new spy-themed musical comedy (book and lyrics by Arthur Riordan, music by Bell Helicopter) set in Dublin during the Second World War. Begins Feb. 24.
- "Big Love." The oft-produced Charles Mee play, loosely based on Aeschylus' "The Suppliant Maidens," and here directed by Matt Hawkins. Begins Apr. 21.
