A Chicago man was arrested Wednesday morning after being accused of stealing men's razors from a Garfield Ridge Walgreens using a pair of scissors as a weapon.

Aldaberto Morales, 43, of the 2400 block of West 35th Street, was arrested just after 10 a.m. near the Walgreens, according to court records.

Morales allegedly entered the store on South Kedzie Avenue to take about $260 worth of Fusion- and Mach-brand razors. Morales attempted to escape by brandishing a pair of scissors in the direction of the store manager, the police report said.

Morales was brought to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse Thursday afternoon and released on a $10,000 I-bond with electronic home monitoring required.
