Illinois Millennials are spending big money on booze, ranking 5th in the U.S. for the most spent on alcohol every year, CNNMoney reported Friday.
The data, released by budgeting app Level Money, ranks by state Millennials’ average annual spending on our most guilty pleasures: alcohol, fast food and caffeine.
Illinois only placed in the alcohol category, and no specific spending numbers were provided. Massachusetts ranked first, followed by Colorado, New York and Wyoming. Mississippi spends the least on booze.
Other notable binge findings: Starbucks is the most popular caffeine spot, and McDonald’s the top preferred restaurant chain.
