A man and his dog Buckley were rescued from Lake Michigan by emergency crews at Belmont Harbor on the North Side Tuesday night, authorities said.
Police and firefighters were called to the harbor at about 7:30 p.m., police said.
The man, in his 30s, and his dog named Buckley were rescued by Chicago Fire Department crews, police said.
The man was checked out by paramedics but he had no apparent injures, police said.
