Hidden weapons at airport security: TSA reveals 10 scary surprises
Comedian Joan Rivers, statesman Henry Kissinger and singer Jennifer Hudson have each been patted down at airports. No one -- not celebrities, toddlers nor seniors in wheelchairs -- is exempt from being frisked for hidden weapons by the Transportation Security Administration. The TSA says the tactics are necessary to keep air travel safe, citing the huge arsenal of weapons its agents have uncovered from passengers at the nation's airports. Here are 10 weapons -- including Claymore mines and a tomahawk -- that the TSA has found hidden under clothes or in carry-on bags.
