Voters choose to fund transit projects
Transit was a big winner in various participatory budgeting votes that took place this month in four wards around the city. Four aldermen, from the Rogers Park, Uptown, Hyde Park and Jefferson Park areas, allowed residents to vote on how the aldermen should spend budget money. Here are the transportation projects that won. Runner-up projects also have a chance at implementation if other projects selected can't be completed.
