In Tuesday's column, Going Public asked riders what they would name a card that could be used on Metra, Pace and CTA. Last week, Gov. Quinn signed legislation that requires a universal fare card by 2015.

>> Emma Rodgriguez: "CT ME ON PACE"

>> Sharon Pearson: "Universal Transit"

>> Tim Jameson: "The ChiLine"

>> Susan Amati: "Uni-card"

>> Jen Smith: "The Mace card." Metra+Pace+what's needed to ride CTA nowadays

>> Gerardo Bernaldez: "I-Trans"

>> Phil Melcher: "3-way on the RTA!" "Excuse me can I have a 3-way on the RTA card"

>> Dave Sorrell: "Mace." Or the "oh sh*t" pass...because if you ever commute, you'd be saying that at least three times daily.

>> James Hough: "The ONE Card." Oh, wait...

>> Larry Brown: "A liver." 'Cause thats what it's gonna cost

>> Connie Myles: "The Trans Pass"
