A refurbished CTA bus will bring fruits and vegetables to so-called food deserts on the South Side Tuesday.
Mobile food market Fresh Moves is scheduled to make stops in Auburn Gresham and Chatham. Fresh Moves has partnered with Pangea Properties, a Chicago-based real estate firm, on the trips.
For a year-and-a-half, Fresh Moves has been using a CTA bus to deliver nutritious food to those in need on the West Side. Earlier this year, the city donated a second bus to the effort.
The Fresh Moves schedule on Tuesday:
>> 10 to 11 a.m., 8255 South Maryland Ave.
>> 12 to 1 p.m., 741 East 79th St.
>> 2 to 3 p.m., 1735 West 79th St.
>> 4 to 5 p.m., 1514 West 77th St.
