Deja Blue: CTA Blue Line woes persist
Service on the CTA Blue Line was delayed Monday morning because of switching problems near the O'Hare stop, the CTA said. This is not the first problem the Blue Line has endured this month. RedEye rounded up recent Blue Line woes including two small track fires in one day. Meanwhile, starting July 1, Chicago Card users who pay per ride will have to pay $5 to ride the trains from O'Hare. The CTA had temporarily suspended this fee while the agency worked with O'Hare workers to transition them to passes. Unlimited pass users don't have to pay this extra fee.
