CTA Addison Red Line station

Northbound trains won't be stopping at the Addison Red Line station for portions of Saturday and Sunday. (April 11, 2014)

The CTA is rerouting various trains for construction this weekend. RedEye breaks down your weekend commute.

>> The Red Line: Northbound trains are not stopping at the Addison stop from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday. The CTA is performing track maintenance there. To get to the Addison stop, riders can take the northbound train to Sheridan and take a southbound train to Addison.

>> The Blue Line: Bus shuttles are replacing trains between the Damen and Western stops on the O'Hare branch from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday. Since the Damen stop doesn't have an escalator or elevator, riders with disabilities or large luggage can take a shuttle bus from Clark/Lake, which is accessible for riders with disabilities. Crews are working to ease Blue Line slow zones.

>> The Brown Line: Trains are operating on the same track between the Sedgwick and Fullerton stops on Sunday from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Crews are trying to ease Brown Line slow zones.

>> The Orange and Pink lines: Trains will operate counterclockwise on the Outer Loop on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. For the Orange Line, the first stop in the Loop will be Adams/Wabash and the last stop in the Loop will be Harold Washington Library-State/Van Buren.

For the Pink Line, the first stop in the Loop will be Washington/Wells and the last stop in the Loop will be Clark/Lake. The CTA is performing Loop track maintenance.
