Four people were hurt in a crash involving a CTA bus and a semi-truck on Chicago's far South Side.

Four people were hurt, three seriously, in a crash involving a CTA bus, a dump truck and a third vehicle on the South Side Wednesday night.

The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the 10300 block of South Stony Island Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Officials called an EMS Plan 1, bringing at least five ambulances to the scene.

Three people were transported in serious-to-critical condition to local hospitals, and one person was taken in fair-to-serious condition.
