Oh it's big, baby.

My order this morning at Starbucks was bigger - seven ounces bigger to be exact.

Never one to pass up a caffeine buzz, I ordered the new 31-ounce Trenta sized iced coffee. While the monster sized drink has been available in select cities for a few months now, Chicago gets it for the first time today.

And just so you know, you can only order iced coffee, iced tea and lemonade in this size, so sorry to all of you that had your heart set on a Big Gulp sized Frappuccino.

Is it big? Yes. Will I spend more time in the bathroom this morning than at my desk? Probably. Am I ok with that? Yes. There's been a lot of talk about how ridiculous 31 ounces of iced coffee is and that's true. But for someone used to 24 ounces of iced goodness, I'm only drinking 7 more ounces.

As far as nutrition, well, you can't blame Starbucks for that. My drink has exactly 5 calories. It's unsweetened. Get it sweetened and add some half and half and then you might need an extra-long workout. The point is, you can have an enormous drink and not pack on the pounds. You just have to be willing to drink 31 ounces of unsweetened refreshment.

How am I doing? I have about 20 ounces to go and it's taken me exactly 12 seconds to type this whole thing. Hey, don't judge.

Caffeine: 185 mg. Ounces of regret: None.

Will you try a trenta sized anything at Starbucks? RedEye is now on Google Plus - but we still love Twitter and Facebook. Let us know.

**UPDATE: I did manage to finish the entire cup, right down to that annoying slurp.**
