When: Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m.

Kids: We welcome kids at any of the shows, which last about two hours, with an intermission. For anyone who needs to be asleep by 9, afternoons are best.

Tickets: Available from the Old Town School online ( or through the box office (773-728-6000). $45 for the general public, $40 for Old Town School members.

The money helps support the Chicago Tribune Holiday Giving Campaign, an effort by Chicago Tribune Charities, a McCormick Foundation Fund.

Etc. For updates, photos and history, check out the Songs of Good Cheer Facebook page. As the shows get close, ticket holders who discover they can't come sometimes offer their tickets for sale there, which can be useful if the shows sell out, which they usually do.
