At Steppenwolf, a Shakespearean march through the South

THEATER REVIEW: "The March" at Steppenwolf Theatre ★★★ ... In Frank Galati's rich adaptation of E.L. Doctorow's novel, Sherman's soliloquies have a decidedly Shakespearean air. This Sherman understands the difference between war and nation-building. He finds war much less messy.
