A 20-year-old man was shot in the Southwest Side's Gage Park neighborhood Saturday night, police said.

About 10:50 p.m., the man was shot in the arm in the 3100 block of West 52nd Street, Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The man told police he heard gunfire while walking and felt pain in his arm, Greer said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
