Shootings on the South and Northwest sides left two men injured overnight, authorities said.
In the Northwest Side's Hermosa neighborhood, a 33-year-old man was injured in a drive-by shooting about 9:15 p.m., authorities said.
At least one person inside a white SUV opened fire in the 2200 block of North Keystone Avenue, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
The 33-year-old man was struck in the leg and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized.
Gang slogans had been shouted just before the shooting from the SUV, which fled westbound after the gunfire, police said.
On the South Side, a 29-year-old man arrived at the University of Chicago Hospital about 4 a.m. this morning after he was shot in the West Woodlawn neighborhood.
The man was shot in the hand in the 6000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. His condition was stabilized.
