A 24-year-old man was wounded Sunday afternoon in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Woodlawn neighborhood.
The man was shot about 3:44 p.m. in the 600 block of East 67th Street, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti, citing preliminary information.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh and was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where his condition was stabilized, Ursitti said.
As of 4:59 p.m., no one was in custody for the attack and police were investigating.
