A 34-year-old man was shot this afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.
The man was shot at 1:34 p.m. on the 12200 block of South Emerald Avenue, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney.
The man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition had stabilized, Sweeney said. Police are investigating.
