A man in his 40s was injured this morning in a shooting in the Englewood neighborhood, police said.

The shooting happened on the 6700 block of South Loomis Boulevard at about 10:10 a.m., said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition after being shot in the leg, police said.

No other details were available.
