A 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed this evening in the Jeffrey Manor neighborhood on the southeast side, officials said.
The incident happened on the 9600 block of South Merrion Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The man, Kahlin Holloway, was pronounced dead at 6:35 p.m. at Advocate Trinity Hospital, according to the medical examiner's office. He lived in the 9600 block of South Euclid Avenue.
Offficials said the man sustained a fatal stab wound in a domestic-related incident. Someone drove him to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The woman who stabbed him is in custody and being questioned.
No other information was immediately available.
