A 34-year-old man died today after being shot Saturday while driving with another man in the Logan Square neighborhood, authorities said.
Sixto Roman, 34, was declared dead at 12:55 p.m. today at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Roman and another man, also 34, were in the 3200 block of West Armitage Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, inside a light-colored car traveling west when shots were fired from a light colored sport-utility vehicle, said Police News Affiars Officer Daniel O’Brien.
Roman was shot in the head, and the other victim suffered a graze wound. The second victim then drove them both to Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center and they were transferred to Stroger Hospital.
