Two teens were hospitalized Saturday evening after being shot in the legs on the Far South Side, police said.

The shooting happened at 6:45 p.m. on the 10400 block of South Wallace Avenue in the Fernwood neighborhood, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the left ankle and an 18-year-old man sustained a graze wound to his calf, said Alfaro. Both were taken to Roseland Hospital in good condition, Alfaro said.

The two were walking together when they heard shots and felt pain, said Alfaro.
