A man in his 20s was stabbed repeatedly about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on the Northwest Side, police said.
Police said they found him in shock and bleeding profusely and weren’t able to find out from him what happened. He was in critical condition when he went into surgery overnight at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
The man was found in the 3800 block of North Long Avenue in the Portage park neighorhood and police followed a trail of blood back to a vacant house.
No one is in custody.
