Two people were shot late last night and this morning including a man was shot in the arm while shoveling snow in the Stony Island Park neighborhood, police said.
The second attack happened late last night in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Two assailants confronted the man, who is in his 20s, while he was shoveling snow about 10 a.m. in the 8500 block of South Constance Avenue on the South Side, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
"One pulled a handgun and shot him in the upper left arm," Zala said.
The victim was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, said Zala.
He was not robbed and the attackers fled after the shooting. No arrests have been made.
In another shooting that happened about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 6500 block of North Fairfield Avenue, a 27-year-old man suffered a graze wound above his left eye, said Zala.
That man was listed in good condition at Swedish Covenant Hospital, said Zala.
