Two men were wounded Tuesday night in a shooting on the Far South Side in the city's East Side neighborhood.
About 8:34 p.m., two men were sitting in a parked vehicle in the 10600 block of South Green Bay Avenue when a light-colored vehicle pulled up and people inside started yelling gang slogans, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
At least one person in the light-colored vehicle opened fire, striking two men in the parked vehicle.
The two injured men brought themselves to Advocate Trinity Hospital, Greer said. One of them, a 31-year-old shot in the thigh, was listed in good condition. The other, who is 34, was transferred to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the email@example.com
