2 shot in West Englewood

Two 20-year-old men were shot in the West Englewood neighborhood today, officials said.

The shooting happened at 12:34 p.m., on the 7200 block of South Paulina Street, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.

One of the men sustained multiple gunshot wounds while the other male was shot in the leg, Sullivan said. The one who suffered multiple wounds was considered in critical condition, said News Affairs Antoinette Ursitti.

No other information was available as of 6:45 p.m., Ursitti said.
