Snooki appearing at Chicago-area tanning salon, Skylar Grey performing at Studio Paris, LeBron James dines at RPM Italian

The sixth season of “Jersey Shore” isn’t scheduled to begin filming until the summer and its spinoff, “The Pauly D Project,” isn’t filling the void like you had hoped, so this might be your only chance to get your “Jersey Shore” fix for the time being.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will appear at Ultimate Exposure tanning salon in Hoffman Estates April 28 to promote her indoor tanning lotion line. In order to meet Snooki during her appearance, you need to be one of the first 500 people to purchase her tanning lotion at an Ultimate Exposure location beginning Wednesday.

Her co-star and former friend-with-benefits, Vinny Guadagnino, will appear at V Live in Logan Square April 28 and 29. In order to meet Vinny, you probably just need to be a scantily clad hot blonde.

OK, I’m just kidding about Vinny. He probably prefers brunettes.

Heads up: Up-and-coming singer Skylar Grey will take the stage at Paris Club’s upstairs lounge, Studio Paris, April 28. … “Saturday Night Live” alum David Spade will appear at the Make-A-Wish Illinois 2012 Wish Ball May 12 at the UIC Forum. “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush will emcee the benefit. Update: Kourtney Kardashian will no longer join her sisters Kim and Khloe when they promote their Kardashian Kollection at Sears in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg Friday. I’m told she is far along in her pregnancy and is limiting her travel.

On the record: “This whole show is sort of like a Home & Garden challenge, because they had to build this [bleep] very, very fast. And here’s why: There’s still not a format to the show. So, if you think you’re going to get something shiny and polished, you’re not. You’re going to get me talking [bleep] about a lot of things and you’re going to hear bleeping.” – Oak Park native Kathy Griffin talks to The Hollywood Reporter about her new talk show, “Kathy,” which debuts on Bravo Thursday.

“I can have a hat on, glasses on, whatever. People still notice me. If I go outside without a hat on, I feel like I’m naked. ... This life doesn’t fit my personality.” – Bulls star Derrick Rose talks to GQ about fame.

Welcome back: My old pal, Chris Rolfe, is returning to the Fire after two and a half seasons of playing soccer with Danish team Aalborg BK. For those of you who never read my soccer blog (which is about 99 percent of you), Rolfe was my favorite player to make fun of because he has a good sense of humor and, more importantly, he’s not much bigger than me. Glad to have him back. Also, I should point out that when I tweeted yesterday “I can already picture him texting me to include him in the celeb sightings,” I was only half serious.
