Chicago Shakespeare Theater has signed up a cast of comedic notables for its upcoming production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Directed by Gary Griffin, the show will feature the Second City and “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Tim Kazurinsky as Peter Quince, the Broadway comic Ron Orbach (“Laughter on the 23rd Floor”) as Nick Bottom and the Chicago Shakespeare regular Elizabeth Ledo as Puck.
The American Players Theatre favorite Tracy Michelle Arnold will play Hippolyta/Titania and Timothy Edward Kane, currently playing in “An Iliad” at Court Theatre, will be Thesus and Oberon. Performances begin Feb. 7.
