Sophia Bush is sporting a new tattoo, courtesy of Speakeasy Custom Tattoo in Wicker Park.
The “One Tree Hill” actress – who is in town filming the “Chicago Fire” spinoff “Chicago PD” – visited Speakeasy Sunday to get an equal sign tattooed onto her left ring finger in support of equal rights. She was joined by DJ duo The Jane Doze.
“Remember that time @thejanedoze and I were gonna get tattooed in SF?” Bush wrote on her Instagram account Sunday. “Well ... #Chicago did it for us.… Thanks @HeathRave. We (love) you. #SpeakeasyTattoo.”
Speakeasy tattoo artist Heath Rave confirmed that he tattooed Bush and the members of The Jane Doze, who performed Friday at Debonair Social Club.
"the tattoo is white," Bush said of her ink Monday on Instagram, where she also posted a photo of the tattoo. "the pride is a rainbow. this fight matters. I am so grateful to love, be loved, and witness the love of others. and our love is the same love. Macklemore on repeat today. #samelove #equalitymatters"
Bush and The Jane Doze also visited Dose Market, which took place Sunday at the 1st Ward inside Chop Shop in Wicker Park.
