The first place Emmy Rossum had dinner while in Chicago this week to film exterior scenes for the upcoming season Showtime’s “Shameless” was Sunda. Rossum dined at Sunda on Sunday and then plugged the Asian restaurant on Twitter, as she is known to do for restaurants she visits.
The Bulls’ Carlos Boozer also dined at Sunda that night. The Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw and Nick Leddy were there Tuesday.
Elsewhere around Chicago, singer John Legend made a Hennessy V.S-sponsored appearance at Board Room Sunday following his concert at the Chicago Theatre. Dancehall artist Sean Paul performed Saturday at Paris Club’s upstairs club, Studio Paris. Singer Jessie Ware had brunch Saturday at Nellcote.
John Cusack (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) visited Three Dots and a Dash Saturday and Timothy Busfield (“Thirtysomething”) dined Thursday at R.J. Grunts.
Chef Emeril Lagasse dined Monday at Chicago Cut Steakhouse while in Chicago for Chef Charlie Trotter’s funeral. Mayor Rahm Emanuel had dinner Sunday at Homestead On The Roof, located above Roots Handmade Pizza.
Magic Johnson had lunch Tuesday at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab. Gene Cornish and Dino Danelli, members of “Good Lovin’” band The Rascals, had dinner Thursday at Joe's while here for their “Once Upon a Dream" Broadway show at Cadillac Palace Theatre. The Bulls’ Taj Gibson and Cleveland Cavaliers’ Jarrett Jack dined at Joe’s, separately, Sunday.
The Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane and the Detroit Lions’ Ndamukong Suh hung out, separately, Sunday at the Underground. Suh dined Tuesday at Joe's Seafood. The Bears’ Roberto Garza dined at Carmine’s Sunday after his team's loss to the Lions. Fellow Bear Lance Briggs was spotted Thursday and Friday at Parliament and Tuesday at Siena Tavern.
