Super Bowl Sunday may just be the cutest day of the year, thanks to Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl X and the Hallmark Channel's first-ever Kitten Bowl. It's hard not to love watching baby animals bat the ball around in what's possibly the most adorable hours of television ever.
This year's Puppy Bowl features two 12-week-old Italian greyhound siblings, Taser and Sharpie, from Chicago's ROMP Italian Greyhound Rescue, along with penguin cheerleaders and First Lady Michelle Obama doing a touchdown dance.
As with the Puppy Bowl, the felines featured on the inaugural Kitten Bowl will be available for adoption. Cat lovers can also check out the Feline Fantasy League on Hallmark Channel’s Facebook page, which will have a live kitten cam and collectable, digital interactive trading cards to add to the fan frenzy. Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson may have more skills, but they just can't compete with tiny, waggy tails.
Watch the Kitten Bowl at 11 a.m. (or repeat airings at 2 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m.) on the Hallmark Channel and Puppy Bowl X at 2 p.m. on Animal Planet.
