The Lady Gaga sightings have continued in Chicago.
Gaga was spotted outside her Gold Coast hotel Sunday one week after she was seen having dinner with boyfriend Taylor Kinney, who is in the city filming the pilot for Dick Wolf’s “Chicago Fire,” at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in River North. The “Poker Face” singer was accompanied by two bodyguards in the Gold Coast.
Kinney dined with his “Chicago Fire” co-stars at the newly opened Nellcote in the West Loop Saturday, including Monica Raymund and David Eigenberg, but was sans-Gaga for the dinner.
Rejected: Remember when “Mob Wives Chicago” creator Jennifer Graziano told me some businesses in the city refused to allow her show to film in their locations? From what I hear, that list includes Gilt Bar, Lux Bar, Tavern on Rush and Graceland Cemetery. Still, Graziano insisted only one out of every four or fives places have said no. I’m told the show has filmed at The Fifty/50, Brunch, English, Barn & Company, Bleeding Heart Bakery & Cafe, Hubbard Inn, Fishman’s Fabrics, Eye Candy Optics, Newport Bar & Grill and The Hunt Club.
Heads up: “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor Jeff Garlin will appear at the grand opening of Allium in The Four Seasons Hotel March 22.
No place like home: WWE Champion and Lockport native CM Punk has begun filming for his upcoming WWE DVD and expects the cameras to continue rolling through the Extreme Rules pay per view at the Allstate Arena April 29. “I think (WWE) wanted to do a ‘Road to Wrestlemania’ DVD,” Punk told me Thursday. “I was like ‘Who gives a s*** (about the road to Wrestlemania)?’ The pay per view after Wrestlemania is in Chicago. That was a no brainer to me – coming home. The last day of filming will probably be the pay per view. I’ll get my sisters in (the DVD) and (Colt) Cabana.”
Look for my feature on Punk in the Tribune the week of Wrestlemania.
