House Theatre to stage start of 'new trilogy' as part of 2012-13 season

The House Theatre of Chicago, in residence at the Chopin Theatre in Wicker Park, will kick off its 2012-13 season with "The Iron Stag King: part one," the beginning of a new trilogy by Chris Matthews and Nathan Allen ("The Sparrow") wherein a "young man seeks to unite his realm in peace." Allen said that the new show is a fusion of Arthurian and Norse mythology with "uniquely American themes." Performances begin on Aug. 31.
