An autopsy report revealed this afternoon that cold exposure contributed to the death of a homeless man who was found outside Friday on the South Side.
Casimir Widarz, who was listed as homeless, was found outside Friday on the 4300 block of South Ashland Avenue in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
An autopsy report today listed his primary cause of death as heart disease and the secondary cause as cold exposure, according to the medical examiner's office.
