Neko Case, Mavis Staples to headline A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party

Neko Case, Mavis Staples and the Hold Steady were announced Tuesday as part of the lineup for the second-annual A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party on Sept. 6-7.

The festival, staged annually outside the Hideout at 1354 W Wabansia Ave., will also include Young the Giant, Superchunk, the Walkmen, Trampled By Turtles, Aimee Mann and Ted Leo (performing as the Both), Nude Beach, Jon Langford, Girl Group Chicago and Vision Celestial Guitarkestra.

Tickets ($60 for a two-day pass) are available at fest.avclub.com. The Onion A.C. Club announced that single-day tickets will be available later.
