Former 'PerformInk' publisher gets into the theater management biz

Carrie Kaufman, 49, the former editor and publisher of the now-defunct show business trade paper "PerformInk," is to be the new general manager of the Porchlight Music Theatre, the Chicago company said Tuesday.

Kaufman takes up her new post immediately. In a statement, she said she has held "a high opinion of Porchlight since the theater's inception."
