A South Suburban Lansing bank was robbed at gun point this afternoon by three masked men, FBI officials said.
The robbery happened at 1 p.m. at the USBank branch at 17150 South Torrence, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.
According to witnesses the three robbers went into the bank and announced a robbery, Hyde said.
At least one of the three was armed with a handgun and went over the teller counter to confront the bank employees, Hyde said.
There were reports that two bank employees were injured, Hyde said.
Lansing Police and paramedics responded to the scene.
The robbers wore hooded sweatshirts and covered their lower faces with bandanas or scarves. They were described as being 5 feet7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, officials said.
