Trains on the CTA Pink Line west of Pulaski Road were stopped briefly this afternoon when a person fell on the tracks at a West Side station, authorities said.
The person fell on the tracks at the Kostner station on the line a little before 3 p.m., and power was shut off west of Pulaski Road on the line, a spokeswoman for the CTA said. The person was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment following the incident, but a condition for the person wsa not immediately available, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
