North Side detectives were asking for the public's help finding two men who abducted a woman at gunpoint from a CTA train and took her to a nearby apartment, where they sexually assaulted her.

A woman, age 52, met two men in their 20s as she got on the Blue Line on June 30 on the West Side at 530 S. Kedzie Ave., according to police. The woman was forced off the train at gunpoint about 6:30 a.m. at the line's Northwest Side California stop, 2211 N. California Ave., police said late Saturday.

The two took the woman to an apartment in the 2800 block of West Lyndale Street and sexually assaulted her, according to the alert from Area North detectives.

The attackers were both black men in their 20s, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. One was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a blue hat; the other wore a maroon plaid shirt, blue jeans and a Philadelphia Phillies baseball hat.
