Christine Provost is the new head of the Chicago office of Actor's Equity, the union of actors and stage managers.
Provost, who has responsibility for the union's 16-state central region, is an attorney and an experienced negotiator. She has worked for the union for some 15 years, most recently as a senior business representative.
She succeeds the retiring Kathryn V. Lamkey, who worked for Equity for 25 years.
