Three people were wounded in shootings Thursday afternoon and evening, according to police.
A 23-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the foot in the 12200 block of South Emerald Avenue when he was shot about 1:40 p.m., said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala. The man was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was in good condition, authorities said.
A 32-year-old man walked into Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his foot about 6:35 p.m. Thursday. The attack happened in the 3800 block of West Grand Avenue.
Someone shot a 24-year-old woman about 10:15 p.m. in the 2100 block of Souith Marshall Boulevard in the Little Village neighborhood about 10:15 p.m. She was hit in the leg and chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. She was on a porch when someone stepped out of a car, opened fire and hit the woman.
