Charlie Trotter’s auction, take two, will go online sometime Wednesday, with items from the shuttered Lincoln Park restaurant up for bidding until Feb. 24, Auction Consultants President Scott Bowers said Tuesday.
Joe Kotz, the Elgin-based auction company’s communications director, said the auction will consist of 735 lots, down from the more than 1,500 that Trotter made available in a live December auction that the chef-owner cut short after only about one-third of the items had gone up for bid. Kotz said some items, such as the dining room chairs, have been sold since then, while other items have been consolidated or donated or remain in Trotter’s possession.
Items remaining include china, art, furniture, stemware, pots, pans, coolers, steam ovens and other kitchen equipment, Kotz said.
The auction will take place on the Proxybid website, with information available at auctionconsultants.net/charlie-trotters-online.
